Program Details
The English program combines literary study, critical thinking, and creative expression to prepare students for careers that value communication, analysis, and imagination. Students develop skills in critical reading, analytical writing, and research by studying renowned movements, genres and subfields of American and English literature and the debates, commentaries, and controversies representative texts and documents evoked, strengthening their ability to analyze, synthesize, and communicate complex ideas. They will explore careers for which the discipline prepares them, and consider all of these aspects of the discipline within a Christian framework.
